Tågarpskolan is a fine and well-managed F-6 school with two and three parallel classes.

We have about 380 friendly students distributed across 17 classes.

The school has recently been expanded and has a brand new schoolyard that was inaugurated in January 2025. The schoolyard offers great opportunities for outdoor learning.

Tågarpskolan has five after-school care departments, F-classes, grades 1, 2, 3, and grades 4-6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tågarpskolan is looking for a special educator with a focus on language, writing, and reading learning as well as mathematics to work with students in grades F-6. In the role of special educator, in close collaboration with the special educator and special teachers, you will be responsible for the special support. Together with the class teacher, we create the best possible conditions for each student's learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed primary school teacher and have a special educator degree for work in grades F-6 with a focus on language, writing, reading development, and mathematics.

If you have previous experience working as a special educator in grades F-6, it is an advantage. You need to have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to apply them in your daily work. As a special educator, you should be able to teach, follow up and assess, as well as map students' language, writing, and mathematics development. Therefore, it is important that you have good linguistic competence in the Swedish language both orally and in writing.

As an employee, you lead yourself in your assignment but also together with school management, special educators, and special teachers. You are engaged in students' learning, have an easy time building relationships, and enjoy a varied job with a lot of responsibility.
